About the LifeBridge Physician Network

The LifeBridge Physician Network (LBPN) is a voluntary, physician-governed association of independent and employed clinicians affiliated with LifeBridge Health (LBH). The association was created to enable clinicians across the LifeBridge Health community to better integrate clinical care for patients without regard for the economic relationships among or between the clinicians and between clinicians and LifeBridge Health. Members of the association are committed to developing and operating within a clinically integrated system of care.

The LifeBridge Physician Network promotes care integration by establishing clinical standards, care pathways and programs, and performance expectations within peer committees and approved by its elected governing body. Membership is predicated on the commitment to honor a series of compacts or expectations among the clinicians and between the association and LifeBridge Health.

By serving as a collective clinical partner of LifeBridge Health, members of the LifeBridge Physician Network are welcomed to participate with LBH in all contemporary risk-bearing and shared-savings contracts and the association’s elected leader is welcomed to participate on LBH’s executive leadership team.

By operating as a collegial accountable clinical partner of LBH, patients served by LBPN clinicians become the beneficiaries of better care integration, quality and access; the community becomes the beneficiary of improved health outcomes and better resource management; and the clinicians become the beneficiaries of better care coordination and improved clinical partnerships with colleagues.
